My art work is just influence by what I like. As someone who draws a lot I feel that most of my drawing are different but I need to work more to improve. Because all artist always have room for improvement. What I feel is the must fun is transnational with a pencil though we haven't done it in class. My favorite we did in class is the carving because it was complete new and fun to do. Order for me to get better as an artist I need to practice often. Some of the challenges I faced is coming up with ideas. Though I always do come up with one eventually I still have trouble. I must improve with using ideas that I come up with in my mind and putting it on paper because of this to use in real life scenarios. I hope people see in my art is inspiration. I hope people get inspired by my art and they go and create their own. My goal as an artist is just to improve my art and draw the ideas I have in my head.
Reflection
My art is something that I am mostly proud of and for some I think very hard during the planning phase but if I am not interested in the subject I just work through it as fast as possible. I use minimal shading, rough sketches are nonexistent, this is something that I need to break. I use my material to there fullest though, trying new things with shading styles and other subjects. Since I'm willing to do most new things I end up challenging myself a lot when it comes to new things, although I tend not to observe my surrounding that well.
Reflection 2
For the most part I've keep to the same tools that I've been using since I started to draw, good old normal graphite pencil, but for some of my drawings I had learned how to use ebony pencils along with micron pens sometimes, though I always will prefer using a classic mechanical pencil. The reason behind this is because this is how I've been drawing since I have started. Later on in this class I have learned how to properly shade using ebony pencil along with the other tools to make it smooth, before I just used my finger. When thinking about drawing something I always have had a problem with coming up with a pose for unknown reason but when I do get it on the page by drawing a blank character with only the gender being known, then I add details. I always preferred finding a reference image though, it make it easier and in opinion more fun. When I have finished a drawing my I usually experience pride since it is something that I have put effort into but for some to me they look weird so I continue to edit it until I am satisfied. When it comes to color on my drawing I never add it mostly because I might end up ruining it. When it comes to the process I used to create my work I always used the same process, make a blank outline of the body with lines representing something like the chest or even weapons. I'm usually proud of the details when it comes to my art work. I love making designs in the armor of clothing in my drawing. Though I can always improve on the proportion of the body. I have recently found a way that I love when drawing faces, this took me so long to find since I mostly draw character that have something on their head. When it comes to interactions with other artist I always post my art on a app called Animo, I have meet many people that have encourage me to continue and some even gave me advice on my drawings. So all the people who I have meet where awesome.
Final Reflection
With most of the drawing where I had the most creative freedom I always used characters from my favorite game, For Honor. A game of knights, Vikings and Samurai. I really love drawing this characters and I always find myself thinking of new ways to interpenetrate the characters. With most of my drawings and art in general I always use a basic graphite pencil. My favorite piece being the tempera resist painting, the entire process was super fun and I got to use my favorite model of the Wardens. I feel like I really grew in the aspect of proportions I have always had trouble with arms, the waist and even the size of the heads, but I feel like I really have improved in that aspects. On the other hand I really struggle with action poses, I can never get the body to look right although I do have my moments. I hope people will look at my art and want to create their own drawings and improve as a artist.
